Last night I was working out at the YMCA and I was listening to David Crowder’s song, “You make everything glorious”. As I was listening to the lyrics, it was hard to accept the truth of what God was saying to me. As I ran on the treadmill trying to get rid of my cellulite and flab, I heard these words,

“You make everything glorious,

You make everything glorious,

You make everything glorious,

And I am yours,

What does that make me?”

So is that true? Am I the essence of God’s glory? Am I truly considered glorious even with all my blemishes and flaws? If I am made in God’s image, how can I be anything but glorious?

What if we all knew our identity in Christ and lived it out with the confidence that regardless of how we look or the sins we’ve comitted, that we are glorious in God’s eyes – do you think the world would be a little different?

You too, each one of you that is reading this now, YOU ARE GLORIOUS!

Check this out and listen to the words! It’s hard to believe we are just as beautiful, if not more, than these images!
